That’s a lot of weary people. And it is a serious problem. Fatigue and exhaustion can have serious consequences. Lack of sleep can affect our physical and mental health. It can also be deadly. Sixty percent of licensed drivers reported that they drove cars while drowsy.

LIAT PREPARES FOR TROPICAL STORM, ANA
ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, August 16, 2009 – LIAT continues to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Ana and wishes to advise the public that it plans to maintain its flight schedule for the rest of the afternoon.
A further update will be issued later this afternoon when LIAT will provide information on its flight schedule for Monday, August 17.

FLIGHTS TO BE SUSPENDED
ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, August 16, 2009 – LIAT has announced that it will be forced to suspend some services in the Eastern Caribbean beginning Sunday afternoon into Monday due to the expected passage of Tropical Storm Ana over the Leeward Islands.
