HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 26 (acn) The Cuban Olympic Committee (COC) announced on Friday that the island will not attend the Central American and Caribbean Games scheduled for July 17-August 1 in Puerto Rico.

Fox Soccer Plus launches in fan-friendly high definition on Monday, March 1, 2010 on cable networks throughout the Caribbean and replaces Setanta Sports, which announced that it was exiting the North American and Caribbean markets as of February 28, 2010. Fox Soccer Plus will broadcast all of the football and some of the rugby content that Setanta Sports had broadcast plus will add content from Italian Serie A and England.
