The Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs made the comment at the official opening of the 45th annual Carriacou Regatta festival on Sunday.

ImageThe recent announcement by the Works  Minister that the 50,000 square foot Halls of Justice Building will be constructed “on the site that once housed the official residence of the Governor General of Grenada” has sent shock waves and disappointment to a large segment of Grenadians at home and abroad. The statement goes on to say that it will be built under a project financed by the CDB, and  the project is now in the design stage with the hope that, by next year it will take off.
