St. George, February 15, 2010 --
Canada-based Grenadian parents, Paul and Glenna George, have expressed pride and joy at the growing athletic success of their daughter, who is senior track and field captain at the University of Connecticut (UConn).

Phylicia George, who is also working towards a medical career, is a star athlete who wants to participate in the 2012 Olympics in London, England.
 
Her close-knit family includes mother and father, as well as a brother attending Ryerson University in Toronto and three sisters. One of the three is teaching in South Korea, another is in the United States and the third lives in Canada.

GEORGE’S, GRENADA, 15TH FEBRUARY 2010 _ St. George’s and St. Mark’s recorded victories in the latest round of matches in the Grenada Cricket Association Inter-parish Under-19 competition over the weekend.  St. George’s defeated St. Patrick’s by 28 runs and St. Mark’s beat St. John’s by seven wickets.

ST. GEORGE’S, FEBRUARY 15, 2010 -- Mt. Horne is the champion of the inaugural Ministry of Youth Empowerment & Sports 20/20 National Cricket Club Tournament.  They beat Lesborn by 67 runs on Sunday to win the coveted trophy and a cheque for $8000 dollars. Runners-up, Lesborn received $5,000.
