 Selwyn Strachan ST.GEORGE’S, December 15, 1008 -- A member of the Grenada 17 jailed for the killing of former Prime Minister Maurice Bishop in 1983, has offered the group’s apology to Prime Minister Hon. Tillman Thomas personally for his incarceration for two years during the 1979-83 Grenada revolution.

Revolutionary Government (PRG) issued the apology while serving as
master of ceremonies at a graduation ceremony in the small business
programme for close to 16 inmates at Her Majesty’s Prisons on Friday.

PRICES FOR PETROLEUM PRODUCTS
The general public is hereby informed that, effective Monday, December 15, instant, the retail prices of petroleum products (Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene and LPG (Cooking Gas) in the State of Grenada will be as shown in the Table below.
The Government will continue to monitor the pricing mechanism and make the necessary change to reduce the frequency of price changes from eight (8) weeks to within four (4) weeks so that consumers could benefit more readily from market changes . All consumers are encouraged to act wisely, to conserve and use energy efficiently.
