REPLACING SETANTA SPORTS --- MORE FOOTBALL --- MORE RUGBY
Castries, St. Lucia, February 26, 2010 -- IMC, parent company to the Caribbean’s leading sports channel SportsMax, announced today that it has acquired Caribbean distribution rights for Fox Soccer Plus, the new sports channel, that will complement SportsMax and complete the ultimate football, cricket and rugby fan experience.
Fox Soccer Plus launches in fan-friendly high definition on Monday,
March 1, 2010 on cable networks throughout the Caribbean and replaces
Setanta Sports, which announced that it was exiting the North American
and Caribbean markets as of February 28, 2010. Fox Soccer Plus will
broadcast all of the football and some of the rugby content that
Setanta Sports had broadcast plus will add content from Italian Serie A
and England.
