MARIJUANA TREES UPROOTED
St. George, August 24, 2010 -- Officers attached to the Special Services Unit (S.S.U) of the Royal Grenada Police Force, today uprooted sixty-seven (67) Marijuana trees ranging from 1 foot - 8 feet in height in the Mt. Pleasance, St. Patrick’s area. The men discovered the trees at about 9:00 a.m while conducting an operation in the area. No one has been arrested and charged.

St. George’s, Grenada, August 24, 2010: It has now been six months since the implementation of the Value Added Tax (VAT). The Government through the Ministry of Finance is currently reviewing its policy, as a means of addressing the concerns of various stakeholders as it relates to the VAT, and as such has planned consultations with the following Sectors for Wednesday 25th August, 2010.
