SOLUTION TO IMPASSE FOUND

Friday October 20th 2006, St. George: The Government of Grenada is pleased to announce that a solution has been found to the current impasse between Consolidated Contractors Company and the Technical and Allied Workers Union. The Minister of Labour, Hon Claris Charles and CCC brought an end to the areas of disagreement this morning.

CCC and TAWU will now sign the 2003-2005 contract on Monday 23rd October at 10 a.m. before the Labour Commissioner.

Government also received assurances today that the infrastructural projects being undertaken by CCC will be completed as planned.
