REPRESENTATION OF THE PEOPLE’S ACT NO. 35 OF 1993 AND REPRESENTATION OF THE PEOPLE (AMENDMENT)
ACT NO. 19 OF 2006

CURRENT VOTERS LIST AND ADDENDUM OF ELECTORS AS AT SEPTEMBER 30, 2007

The general public is hereby informed that the closing date for the inspection,  raising of claims and objections and revision of the Addendum and the Current Voters List as at September 30, 2007 is further extended from January 15 to January 22, 2008.

Everyone,and in particular anyone who was registered during the quarter July 1 – September 30, 2007, is advised to inspect the list to ensure that his or her name is properly included.  It is very important for all registered persons to scrutinize both the Addendum and Current Lists.  The lists must also be checked to establish whether there is any name excluded that should be there or included that should not be there.

Please be advised that you must avail yourselves of this opportunity to inform the Registration Officers in your Constituencies accordingly before the closing date, i.e. January 22, 2008

The lists can be found in each Constituency, at Post Offices, Police Stations, Medical Stations, and other public places.

This Notice cancels and supersedes Notice of December 27, 2007.
