RECALL NOTICE FROM U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE

St. George, March 20, 2008 -- Please be advised of a recall involving poultry products from Cagle’s Inc., a Collinsville, Alabama meat processing establishment.

The recall involves approximately 943,000 pounds of various fresh and frozen poultry giblets and fresh carcasses with giblets inserted that may be adulterated due to improper disposition of the giblets. For detailed information, see the attached recall release.

USDA has learned that some of the possibly contaminated product was exported to Grenada.
