NINE MEMBERS OF NDC'S EXECUTIVE SUED

St. George, March 28, 2008 -- Nine members of the National Democratic Congress have been served with civil law suits in connection with the alleged beating of a police officer in February.

Some of the members in question are, Hon. Nazim Burke, Hon. Peter David, Sen. Arley Gill, Joseph Gilbert, Willie Stewart

Special Legal Advisor to Cabinet, Hugh Wildman, declined to comment on the matter late on Friday, but promised that a media conference will be called early next week.
