USING THE POWER OF MANY TO TURN THE SOIL
AT DOROTHY HOPKIN CENTRE

St. George, April 15, 2008 -- Located in Tempe, St. George, Dorothy Hopkin Centre for the Disabled is a home for mentally and physically challenged children. It has been in existence for over ten years and works diligently to improve the social needs of disabled persons.
Under its social investment initiative, Power to Make a Difference,
Republic Bank has contributed in excess of EC$563,000.00 for the
construction of an additional wing to accommodate 16 children at the
Centre. On completion of construction, the new wing will include a
doctor’s examination room and a games and activities room.

On Friday, April 11, 2008, the project officially commenced with the
turning of the soil by Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Daniel A.
Roberts and the President of the Centre, Mrs. Barbara Calliste.
