PM MITCHELL DISAPPOINTED WITH DELAY IN PETER DAVID'S CITIZENSHIP CASE
St. George, April 16, 2008 -- Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell has bemoaned the tardiness of the justice system in Grenada.
Reacting to a recent Court ruling in Jamaica against a sitting
Parliamentarian with United States Citizenship, Dr. Mitchell noted the
length of time it took for the Court to make a ruling on the matter.
His reference was in the lengthy process in the Attorney General's case
against opposition Parliamentarian Peter David who has Canadian
Citizenship.
