The game was a keen contest between personalities from the entertainment industry and an all-star Ex-National team.
DMJ Creative was very delighted to be able to bring together two such
influential groups of individuals. The harmony among players from both
sides along with the level of admiration and respect was evident and
very heartening.
In front of a capacity crowd at Tanteen the entertainers were able to
give a very good account of themselves, with standout on-field
performances from Marieo Castle, Papa Jerry, Deleon Walters, Steve
Duncan, Soca Banton and Jericho.
The game proved to be very entertaining with the skill level of the
entertainers surprisingly high. For the Ex-nationals Cheney Joseph
flashed his immense skill in scoring three goals while Marlon Glean
netted the fourth. Boogie B who prides himself on his ability to create
upfront, netted once for the entertainers.

Team Ex-Nationals
It must be noted that the game was very competitively played with both
teams providing moments of impressive football along with the
light-hearted and amusing moments.
Highlights included the introductions of Raymond “Beast” Matthew and
Deleon Walters who both donned elaborate wigs. Tallpree and Black
Wizard were certainly curiosities and they did not disappoint their
fans. Ex-national Boboy Hood provided some fantastic halftime
entertainment showcasing his exceptional skill at ball handling and
control.
The evening ended with some lively performances from the likes of Mr. Killer, Papa Jerry, Tallpree, Zingo and Soca Banton.
DMJ Creative would like to thank those who made the first ever Made In
Grenada Celebrity Football Match a success. All the sponsors, The RGPF,
the GFA, the Grenada Mas Band Association, the players on both teams
and a well- behaved audience must all be commended.
