JUDGE ORDERS CAPBANK RETURNED TO OWNERS

St. George, May 7, 2008 -- Chief Executive Officer of Capital Bank International, Mr. Finton DeBourg announced on Wednesday that the Court has revoked the appointment of David Holukoff as Receiver for Capital Bank on the grounds that such appointment was unlawful.  The Court has further ordered the Holukoff hand over the bank to its owners by midday on Thursday.

At a Wednesday morning media conference, DeBourg denied allegations that his bank was an offshoot of the failed offshore banking sector, and acknowledges that his institution has been hurt by the propaganda put out by his former friend, attorney at law, Anselm Clouden.

DeBourg continued to provide reassurances to depositors that their monies are safe and that Capital Bank will see be restructured with a Canadian partner in the very near future.

Wednesday's media conference also featured Capital Bank's lead attorney, Cajecton Hood who explained the grounds for the ruling.
