CAPBANK NOT TURNED OVER

St. George, May 8, 2008 -- Following an announcement by Chief Executive Officer of Capital Bank International, Finton DeBourg on Wednesday that a judge had ruled that the appointment of a Receiver was unlawful, the bank was scheduled to be returned to its owners by noon on Thursday.

However, word reaching GrenadaBroadcast is that the handing over has been delayed since a court has granted a stay of the order which was handed down on Wednesday.
