VALUATION TEAM MOVES INTO ST. GEORGE

St. George, May 13, 2008 -- The Ministry of Finance advises the general public that in accordance with Section 33, Subsection (1) of the Property Tax Act No 2 of 1997 and its Amendments, the staff of the Valuation Division will be carrying out inspection of all properties in the following areas in the Parish of St. George’s from Monday 12th May 2008, during normal working hours:

ü      Beaulieu
ü      Snug Corner
ü      La Mode
ü      Ravin
ü      The Glen
ü      Mt. Gay
ü      Boca
ü      Vendomme

Additionally inspections will be carried out in Fort Jeudy on weekends.

The public is kindly asked to give their full co-operation to the survey teams during this exercise.
