2006 among other matters.
One of the main areas of concern was the discontinuation of the hosting
of fundraising activities on the Esplanade in Hillsborough. The
commissioner advised that further dialogue be held with all
stakeholders to come up with a common understanding and agreement.
Present at Thursday’s meeting were:

Commissioner James said he was happy to have been invited, and is
always willing to meet and have discussions with all groups and
organizations. Representatives of the various festival committees
thanked the O/I of the northern district for his support over the
years, and said they looked forward to a continued cordial working
relationship.
The committees also agreed to continue working together on matters of
common concern. They informed the meeting that, as a group, they have
taken the decision to serve all drinks in plastic cups during major
activities of the festivals.
The meeting was held at the Public library at the Hillsborough Resource Center.
