WILDMAN DETAINED FOR QUESTIONING

St. George, August 30, 2008 -- Former Special Advisor to the previous Cabinet of Grenada, Hugh Wildman, has been detained at the Point Salines airport while awaiting a flight to Jamaica.

Wildman, a high profile and highly controversial attorney working on behalf of the Keith Mitchell-led administration was scheduled to depart Grenada earlier in the week.  However, his departure was postponed because of tropical storm conditions in Jamaica.

Informed sources have advised GrenadaBroadcast that Wildman has been detained  for questioning surrounding the failed First Bank International and corruption in public office.

Wildman is currently being held at the Criminal Investigation Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force.
