JENNIFER JONES PASSES AWAY

St. George's, March 3, 2009 -- Media practitioners in Grenada are today mourning the sudden death of colleague Jennifer Jones who was employed by the Grenada Broadcasting Network.

Jones passed away on Tuesday morning in England where she had been accompanying another GBN staffer who had journeyed to the UK for medical treatment only one week ago. After complaining of feeling unwell, Jones was rushed to a nearby hospital, but didn't make it.
