PRIME MINISTER LEADS DELEGATION TO OECS LIBYAN MEETING

ST.GEORGE’S, JUNE 9, 2009 -- Prime Minister Hon. Tillman Thomas headed a two member delegation to a meeting of OECS leaders and a delegation from the Great Socialist Peoples Libyan Arab Jamahiriya in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on the weekend.

The meeting discussed a number of issues of interest to both regions. The participants issued a joint declaration following the one day meeting.
