VAT EDUCATION FOR RETAILERS

St. George’s, June 10, 2009 -- The Value Added Tax (VAT) Unit of the Ministry of Finance, in conjunction with the Grenada Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC),  will on Friday June 12th, 2009, hold two (2) VAT education sessions for the retail operators of Grenada.

The sessions will be held at the GIDC Building at the Frequente Industrial Park in St. George’s. The first session will be at 9:30 am, while the 2nd session will be at 2:00 pm. Retailers throughout Grenada have been invited to attend the sessions.

The VAT education sessions form part of the public education programme of the VAT Unit.
