GRENADA'S AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO VENEZUELA'S FM
 Ambassador Macleish meeting Venezuelan Foreign Minister
CARACAS, Venezuela, June 18, 2009 – Grenada's new Ambassador to Venezuela, George MacLeish presented his credentials to Minister of the People's Power for External Relations Nicolas Maduro Moros on Wednesday at the House of Antonio Jose de Sucre - Caracas Centre.
Welcoming MacLeish as new ambassador to his country, Moros expressed
appreciation for the development of relations between Grenada and
Venezuela based on mutual trust and equality.
Ambassador MacLeish expressed his gratitude to the assistance provided
by Venezuela and the efforts made by the Venezuelan Government for
promoting economic cooperation between the two countries.
The ambassador told the Minister that he would make his best efforts to
push the relationship between the two countries towards win-win
partnership.
Grenada and Venezuela established diplomatic relations on April 14, 1977.
