REPUBLIC BANK GETS THE JUMP ON HURRICANE SEASON 2009

The Hurricane season is here and it is critical that we heed all the preparatory warnings to safeguard homes and minimize loss.  This year, Republic is pleased to introduce Hurricane Preparedness Loans to assist homeowners in this regard.

General Manager Credit, Republic Bank (Grenada) Limited, Anthony Clerk in launching the package said, “It’s an opportune time to launch because following the major Hurricanes that hit the island a few years ago people rebuilt their homes shortly thereafter.  Now a few years have passed, they will need to ensure that their houses and their properties are sturdy and could stand in the event of a natural disaster.”

As an added incentive to homeowners, Republic has teamed up with 11 hardware companies across Grenada and Carriacou: A&A Hardware, Ace Hardware, Bain and Sons Ltd., Creative Do it Best, Jonas Browne & Hubbard’s (G'da) Ltd., L.A. Purcell, L.L. Ramdhanny & Co. Ltd., Norris James, Paddy's Enterprises & Hardware Ltd., M. Matheson and M & N Hardware, who will be offering discounts ranging from 7.5% to 15% on purchases.  

To access discounts, persons must present a discount card that is only available from Republic Bank Branches Island wide.
