YES!!! A CABINET RESHUFFLE IS IN THE WORKS

NEW YORK,  JUNE 23, 2009 -- Prime Minister Tillman Thomas will reshuffle his cabinet within the next month.

The Prime Minister was answering a reporter’s question about speculation in the Grenadian press that there will be changes to ministerial positions.

“It is a normal thing to reshuffle cabinet and we are thinking of doing that not too long from now,” the Prime Minister said. He  was considering the changes and will make an announcement when the time is right.

“We have to look at how we can manage the country more efficiently. After one year we must see areas where we have weaknesses and strengths and make the necessary adjustments so that the country will be adequately represented and managed,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister is in New York for a United Nations meeting on the impact of the global crisis on small states.
