CRIME REPORT
PERIOD: 22.01.10 - 23.01.10
As a result of an operation conducted by Officers attached to C.I.D, in the town of St. George, a number of search warrants were executed at various homes and the following persons were arrested and charged:
1. Richard Roache, a 38 year old bartender residing at Lowther’s Lane, St. George for the offences of Possession of a Controlled Drug and Possession of a Controlled Drug with the intent to supply to another, to wit: seven and a half ounces of Cannabis. Four pairs of scissors and one tray were also found in his possession.
2. Kevon Austin, a 26 year old auto body repairman residing at Mardigras, St. George for the offences of possession of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply to another, to wit: one and a quarter ounces of Cannabis.
3. Kelvin Harris, residing at Lucas Street, St. George, for being in possession of one Acer laptop computer that is suspected to have been stolen. The item was confiscated for investigative purposes. Occurred on the 22.1.2010.
Shane BOWEN, a 19 year old food vendor residing at D’Arbeau, St.
George, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of
stealing, to wit: one Old Spice Red Zone Deodorant, valued at $12.95
ECC and one bottle of Keno Pep Wine, valued at $5.00 ECC. The offence
was committed on the 21.1.2010.
Afia WALDRON, a 20 year old baby sitter residing at the Limes, St.
George was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of
stealing, to wit: cash amounting to $1,800.00 ECC. The offence was
committed on the 6.12.2009.
Allene BOWEN, a 35 year old barber residing at Beaton, St. David, was
arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of causing a
wound. The offence was committed on the 17.12.2009.
As a result of an operation conducted by Officers attached to Drug and
Strike Squads, a search warrant was executed at the home of Myah Lewis,
a 33 year old unemployed resident of Telescope, St. Andrew where a
transparent plastic bag containing dried plant materials resembling
Cannabis was found. She was subsequently arrested and charged along
with Atiba who was not at the house at the time the search was
conducted. Charges were laid for the offences of possession of a
controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug with Intent to
supply to another, to wit: three and a quarter ounces of Cannabis.
Occurred on the 22.1.2010.
As a result of an operation conducted by Officers attached to Grenville
Police Station, within the Grenville Policing area, Ryan Ranger, a 28
year old Self-employed, resident of Pearls, St. Andrew was arrested and
charged for the offence of possession of a controlled drug, to wit: two
wrapped portions of Cannabis.
Occurred on the 22.1.2010.
VEHICULAR RELATED ACCIDENTS
Eight (8) minor accidents were reported for the period.
PERIOD: Part I 23.01.10- 24.01.10
Frederick RICHARDSON, a 47 year old unemployed resident of Non Pariel,
St. Mark, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence
of stealing, to wit: cash amounting to $25.00 ECC. The offence was
committed on the 20.1.2010.
Keith PAUL, a 49 year old fisherman residing at Waltham, St. Mark was
arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of possession
of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug with intent to
supply to another, to wit: ten wrapped portions of Cannabis. The
offence was committed on the 23.1.2010.
As a result of an operation conducted by Officers attached to Grenville
Police Station, at Durant Road, Grenville, St. Andrew, a total of five
Cannabis seedlings were uprooted, no one was arrested.
Occurred on the 23.1.2010.
VEHICULAR RELATED ACCIDENTS
Two (2) minor accidents were reported for the period.
PERIOD: Part II 23.01.10- 24.01.10
Ronald CLARKE, a 25 year old bus conductor residing at Cherry Hill, St.
George, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of
rape.
The offence was committed on the 23.1.2010.
Lance EDWARDS, a 20 year old painter residing at La Sagesse, St. David,
was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of
possession of a controlled drug, to wit: one five dollar wrapped
portion of Cannabis. The offence was committed on the 24.1.2010.
Lance EDWARDS, a 20 year old Painter, Davidson PHILLIP, a 23 year old
electrician and Jason PHILLIP, a 34 year old electrician, all residing
at La Sagesse, St. David, were arrested, formally charged and cautioned
for the offences of possession of a firearm, to wit: a flare gun and
possession of ammunition, to wit: one 9mm round. The offence was
committed on the 24.1.2010.
VEHICULAR RELATED ACCIDENT
Four (4) minor accidents were also reported for period.
