LIAT RESUMES SERVICES TO AND FROM ANTIGUA

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, February 11, 2010 – LIAT wishes to announce that its services to and from the V.C. Bird International Airport have resumed.

LIAT was forced to suspend flights into and out of Antigua Thursday afternoon because of airborne ash clouds from the Soufriere Hills Volcano in Montserrat.

The ash clouds have since dissipated making the resumption of services possible.

LIAT sincerely apologises for any inconvenience customers may have experienced as a result of the suspension.
