SENATOR BRAVEBOY IN MONTREAL

MONTREAL  FEBRUARY 22, 2010 -- Grenadian Nationals and friends of Grenada in Montreal were elated by the visit of the Hon.Sen. Dr.Pemba Braveboy to Montreal and held a reception in her honour on Sunday.

Honorary Consul in Grenada, Leonard Wharwood Jr., and Gemma Raeburn-Baines of Taste of the Caribbean were the hosts for the evening.

Over 85 persons, in attendance, were keen to hear the message from Prime Minister Tillman Thomas, and news from Grenada.  Sen.Braveboy spoke on Health, Social Security, Development of the Infrastructure, and many other topics related to the daily lives of our fellow nationals in Grenada.

Special added time for the  question and answer period was required as many persons engaged the Senator with brilliant questions. The accomplished Senator responded directly with aplomb, and citing specific actions taken or under consideration by the Government.

After the formal presentations, the Senator spent another hour talking one-on-one in a relaxed setting with back ground music from Grenada and enjoying the delicacies from the sweet table.
