ASSISTANT DRUG CONTROL OFFICER APPOINTED TO MEM

St. George’s Grenada, March 9th 2010 - Assistant Drug Control Officer Mrs. Elizabeth Japal has been appointed by Cabinet as Grenada’s Alternate Representative to the Fifth Round of the Multilateral Evaluation Mechanism (MEM).

The MEM is implemented by the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD), based in Washington D.C.

Mrs. Japal will assist the Principal Representative Mr. Dave Alexander in the preparation of documentation for the MEM and attend relevant meetings of the Governmental Experts Group (GEG) of the MEM.
