ISSUANCE OF PROPERTY TAX DEMAND NOTICES

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, March 10, 2010: The public is hereby advised that the issuance of demand notices for property tax has been delayed due to administrative reasons.

As a result, property owners can now expect their bills to be issued by April 1st 2010. However, individuals wishing to make payments without their bills can contact the Inland Revenue Division to do so.

The Inland Revenue Division apologizes for the inconveniences caused as a result of this delay.

Property owners are however reminded that in accordance to section 40 of the Property Tax Act of 1997, the deadline for payment of Property Tax for the year 2010 is June 30, 2010.

Please note that payments made before June 30th 2010, will be given a 5% rebate.
