CHTA EDUCATION FOUNDATION ACCEPTING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FROM GRENADA

THE CARIBBEAN -- Grenadian students and industry professionals are being encouraged to apply for a scholarship from the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Education Foundation (CHTAEF) so they can pursue higher education or professional development in the tourism and hospitality fields. Scholarships are awarded with support from CHTAEF sponsors including Virgin Holidays, Interval International, FirstCaribbean International Bank, Johnson & Wales University and Florida International University.

ENVIRONMENT, NATURAL RESOURCES & CLIMATE CHANGE:

MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAM IN ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY AND LAW

We are now accepting applications for the Master's Degree Program in Environmental Policy and Law. This is a multidisciplinary two-year program taught in English at the University of Eastern Finland. The program combines group teaching and independent research with the objective of providing participants with professional skills in environmental law and policy. Participants may choose between two alternative majors: a) Natural Resources Governance or b) Environmental and Climate Change Law.

St. George -- On Monday January 19, 2015 Grenada's "hope and forward looking thoughts" became manifest as twenty six young students from Grade 3  age 7 – 8 years, with their teachers from the Westmorland Junior School welcomed a Willie Redhead Foundation representative into their classroom.

GOVERNMENT AWARDS 57 SCHOLARSHIPS

ST. GEORGE -- The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development has awarded 57 persons with scholarships to attend universities in and out of Grenada to pursue higher education in Arts and Science, Medicine, Pre-Med and Masters in Public Health.
