G.U.T. CREDIT UNION AWARDS 12 SCHOLARSHIPS TO TAMCC

St. George – G.U.T. Credit Union has awarded 12 scholarships to students attending the T.A. Marryshow Community College. The scholarship presentation was held on Thursdayat the Horizon Plaza.

NORRIS MITCHELL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

St. George -- At the end of the 2nd year at their respective secondary schools, the two scholarship awardees ------- namely Chelsie Greasley of the St. Joseph Convent, St. George and Kazim Dottin of St. Rose Modern Secondary School – Gouyave, have both been promoted to form 3 at the commencement of the new school year which began on Sept. 5th, 2016.

C&W ADDS NINE NEW AWARD RECIPIENTS TO ITS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR 2016 UNDER NEW CONSUMER BRAND -FLOW

St. George -- Nine deserving students have been inducted into the C&W Scholarship program and will receive assistance with their secondary school costs. Additionally two scholarships were awarded for tertiary programs at the T.A. Marryshow Community College. Although the scholarship program now carries the company's new consumer branding - Flow, it is now in its 25th year and remains an integral part of the company's commitment to education, youth and the communities in which it operates.

RECORD NUMBER OF CHEVENING SCHOLARS ANNOUNCED

Bridgetown -- 2016 sees a record number of Chevening Scholars being awarded to nationals of Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, with eighteen awarded in total.  The Scholars were presented with certificates by High Commissioner Victoria Dean at a ceremony at the British High Commission.
