FIRST REVIEW OF GRENADA'S HOME GROWN PROGRAM
St. George -- A five-member team from the International Monetary Fund has just concluded the first review of Grenada's Homegown Structural Adjustment Program following a ten-day visit. The program began in January of this year, with the IMF officially endorsing it in June. According to Aliona Cebotari, the IMF's mission chief, theprogram is off to a very good start, and the IMF is encouraged by what they have seen. The fiscal adjustment measures put in place by the government are earning good results.
