FIRE TENDER RESPONDS TO HOUSE FIRE

St. George -- Early this morning, the Fire Department responded to a house fire at the Housing Scheme at Grand Anse.  The body of a lone resident, 75-year old Ella Sylvester was discovered with minimal burns.  The RGPF has praised the Grenada Electricity Services for their prompt response and assistance, and now awaits the results of a post mortem.

PLEASE TETHER ANIMALS RESPONSIBLY
DEATH WAS DUE TO HANGING

St. George -- The Royal Grenada Police Force is reminding the general public, particularly residents of the Perseverance community St George that it's a punishable offence, should your animal be found loose or unattended on a public road.

PLEASE HELP TO FIND THIS YOUNGSTER

St. George – The Royal Grenada Police Force are asking for the public's help in locating 13 year old Chenise "Maxine" Henry of Birchgrove, St. Andrew.

She left home on Monday and has not returned since. Chenise is dark in complexion, about 5 feet in height and was last seen in La Digue wearing a blue top and a short pink skirt.

Anyone having any information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Grenville Police Station at 442 7224, Police Emergency at 911 or the nearest Police Station.

St. George -- Because of the cricket games at the Grenada National Stadium on Wednesday 20th and Friday 22nd August, vehicular traffic will flow in a one-way direction from River Road through Cemetery Hill to Lucas Street, effective at 08:00 a.m.
