BRAVEBOY REMANDED TO PRISON

St. George -- Arthur Braveboy, well-known to the Royal Grenada Police Force, appeared in court on Tuesday on firearm related charges and was remanded to prison.  Braveboy surrendered to police on Sunday morning after an island-wide call for help in finding him was issued by the RGPF, allegedly wanted on charges of attempted murder.

MAN GETS 3 MONTHS FOR SAND MINING

St. George -- A St. Andrew resident who appeared before the Grenville Magistrate's Court on Monday 9th March, 2015, charged with sand mining has been sentenced to three months in jail.

WANTED MAN – AUGUSTINE PARRIS

St. George -- The TGPF is seeking your assistance in locating Augustine Parris, alias "Ziere" -- a 52 year-old construction worker of The Stone, at Grand Anse.

Parris is wanted by the Criminal Investigation Department for questioning in connection with a series of house breaking offences.

He is 5ft; 9in tall, has a dark complexion; a slim build; black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone having information about his whereabouts is asked to notify the C.I.D. at phone Nos. 440-3921, or the nearest police station.

Parris may be armed and dangerous and should be approached with caution.

GET THOSE VEHICLES INSPECTED

St. George -- The Royal Grenada Police Force is urging motor vehicle owners to act early in having their vehicles inspected so as to allow ample time for any changes that may have to be complied with under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act.

CORE SKILLS IN FINANCIAL INVESTIGATIONS TRAINING FOR GRENADA

Bridgetown -- Investigators from seven jurisdictions, including Grenada, have attended a ten day training course in core skills in financial investigations delivered by UK experts.  22 investigators have learnt how to investigate money laundering, so that they can better prosecute the top tier of criminality and help confiscate their assets.
