ST. GEORGE -- The stage is set for the launch of the Caribbean's first ever gathering for innovators in coastal tourism. The 1st Caribbean Symposium for Innovators in Coastal Tourism opens at the Rex Grenadian Hotel and the three-day event will serve as a platform for those on the cutting edge of innovative coastal tourism models to share what they have accomplished, and what opportunities lie ahead.  Participants will also explore challenges to the wider adoption of sustainable tourism models and how these barriers can be overcome.

STAR DIAMOND AWARDS AT AAHS DINNER IN NEW YORK

St. George -- One month after Sir Royston Hopkin, owner of the Caribbean's premier luxury hideaway was presented with the prestigious Six Star Diamond award by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS), he visited their headquarters in Manhattan, NY on Wednesday, June 18, where he was officially presented with the remainder of the award at a dinner in his honor at top Manhattan restaurant Mr. K.

LUXURY RESORT CALABASH GRENADA ANNOUNCES ITS 2014 MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR UPGRADE PROJECT

St. George – Calabash Grenada will be closing during August and September in order to extensively upgrade the resort. The multi-million dollar project will bring the standards at the five-star resort to an increased level of luxury and improve its quality of service. The all-suite resort, which also features five top end villas, attracts high-end travellers due to its reputation for combining five star service and luxury within a relaxed and intimate environment.
