THE GTA PROMOTES GRENADA IN TRINIDAD

St. George – The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) will host a series of promotional activities in Trinidad & Tobago from Thursday, 9th April to Saturday, 11th April, 2015. A press conference, two travel agent expos, and a consumer show will directly engage the media, travel agents, and consumers respectively, with the aim of selling Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique as the destination of choice for leisure and romance.

THIS CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINE IS EXPANDING ITS FLEET

CARIBBEAN JOURNAL -- Carnival Cruise Lines is expanding its fleet of cruise ships. The Corporation announced on Thursday that it had signed two memoranda of agreement to add a total of nine new cruise ships to its fleet.

JETBLUE OFFICIALS TO VISIT GRENADA AHEAD OF INAUGURAL FLIGHT

ST. GEORGE -- "JetBlue is coming to Grenada and that is confirmed," The words of Civil Aviation Minister, Yolande Bain –Horsford.  Speaking at Government's Post Cabinet Briefing on Tuesday, Minister Horsford said the airline's officials are expected to make a visit to Grenada in the coming week.

GRENADA NATIONAL TRUST SELECTED TO LEAD CARIBBEAN IN ENGAGING COMMUNITIES AND THE PUBLIC IN SUSTAINABLE HERITAGE TOURISM

St. George -- The Grenada National Trust (GNT) has been awarded a project of major importance to Grenada and regional member countries of the Organization of American States (OAS). The goal of the two year project is to encourage sustainable heritage entrepreneurship through the endorsement of local tourism products and services that safeguard heritage resources and communicate their value to all audiences.
