GRAND ANSE

Still one of Grenada's pristine assets, Grand Anse continues to be a lure for locals and visitors alike. The beach is also home to some of Grenada's premiere resorts, but there is now the fear that adding more properties to this space could destroy what has made it so popular to begin with.

MY NOTE TO TOURISM AUTHORITY ON AN ARTICLE WHICH APPEARED IN CARIBBEAN NEWS NOW

An article appearing in "Caribbean News Now" on August 8th said, "In 2013, 8,000 visitors were in Grenada during the two-week period of the climax of Carnival, contributing more than EC$18,000 into the economy."

POST FIFA WORLD CUP REVELLERS DESCEND ON GRENADA

St. George -- What appeared to be an unscheduled cruise ship call caught many Grenadians by surprise last Friday when MSC Divina arrived at the cruise port with 3, 979 passengers and crew aboard.  The Italian cruise liner was making her second call since May 28, on her way back from Rio De Janiero following the FIFA World Cup tournament.
