ST GEORGE - Grenada will soon become the destination of choice for many female travelers as the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) launches its 'Grenada Girls Getaway' promotion. The seven-month promotional strategy which begins on 1st June 2015 offers value-added deals on hotels, tours, and car rentals to two or more women visiting Grenada.

JETBLUE TOUCHES DOWN WITH TEST FLIGHT

ST. GEORGE -- At exactly 11:02 AM on Tuesday, JetBlue Airbus A320 touched down in Grenada, successfully completing its test flight to the newest Caribbean destination on its itinerary.  The flight, carrying several airline officials, was a forerunner to its grand inaugural trip on June 11.

BENEFITS OF TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT

St. George -- Five-star resort Sandals LaSource is looking into the possibility of expanding the hotel to accommodate an additional 100 rooms.  The idea was pitched to PM Keith Mitchell by chairman of the resort, Butch Stewart recently.  The management of the resort is now actively searching for land for the proposed expansion.  In addition, Sandals has opened a call center where a number of Grenadians are benefitting from training and employment: Click here to listen.
