The Grenlec Community Partnership Initiative contributed $65,000 this year to Legal Aid and Counselling Clinic’s community education project — Creating Safer Communities through Public Education and Capacity Building — a series of programmes designed to teach ways to manage conflict and prevent violence.

“Grenlec is showing leadership as a corporate citizen to encourage others to take interest in these social issues. We believe in creating a violence-free society, a society that is a safer and better place for all of us. Kudos to Grenlec for being one of the first local companies to partner to do this work.” -Tyrone Buckmire, Director, Legal Aid & Counselling Clinic

Since 1994, the GCPI has provided grants of over $22 million to hundreds of organisations throughout our nation to support education, health, culture, sports, and social services.
