Trusted Washington D.C.-based news source U.S. News & World Report has featured Spice Island Beach Resort as the 4th Best All-Inclusive Resort in the Caribbean and 7th Best Hotel in the Caribbean overall in its annual “Best Hotels” ranking. The independently owned hotel was the highest scoring Grenada property in each category, cementing its reputation as the trending island’s flagship luxury resort for discerning travelers.
With nearly 24 million unique monthly visitors, U.S. News & World Report offers timely, informative and compelling features in an online format focused on a broad range of topics to help readers live and work smarter. The publication’s annual “Best Hotels” feature ranks the best hotels in the Caribbean based on an analysis of industry awards, hotel ratings, guest reviews and feedback from professional travel experts. Properties ranked within the top 10 percent of Best Hotels in the Caribbean earned a U.S. News & World Report Best Hotels Gold badge.
The recognition comes days after Spice Island Beach Resort was one of only seven resorts in the Caribbean and 121 hotels worldwide to receive the 2019 AAA Five Diamond rating.
“This honor from U.S. News & World Report is particularly gratifying as it takes into account all the important barometers, including feedback from our guests, the expert opinions of knowledgeable travel professionals and industry awards such as the coveted 2019 AAA Five Diamond designation and our Six Star Diamond Rating from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences,” said Sir Royston Hopkin KCMG, chairman and managing director of Spice Island Beach Resort.
“The credit for all of these achievements belongs to our exceptional management team as well as our phenomenal hotel employees who go above and beyond on a daily basis to make each guests’ stay unforgettable,” Sir Royston added.
Tucked away on a spectacular stretch of Grand Anse Beach just 10 minutes from the airport, Spice Island Beach Resort encompasses 64 elegantly-appointed suites including 17 private pool suites as well as luxurious beachfront accommodations which open directly onto the sand. The independent, family-owned property has garnered significant attention in recent years as Grenada’s tourism stature grows internationally.
