POLICE CARRY OUT SUCCESSFUL DRUG OPERATION St. George — As police intensify their operations for the Carnival Season, a joint operation conducted in the Central Policing District of St. George on Friday resulted in the arrest of three men on drug charges and the detention of a 26 years old Vincentian national.

SAND MINING AREAS IDENTIFIED ST. GEORGE – The Galby and Grand Bacolet areas in St David have been identified for Sand Mining by the government. Works Minister, Gregory Bowen, made the disclosure at a press briefing at the Ministerial Complex on Wednesday.

ST. JOHN’S EDUCATORS’ SCHOLARSHIP FUND St. George — The St. John’s Educators’ Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organisation which provides scholarships annually to 2 students from the parish who are academically inclined and in need of financial assistance. At present 10 students from the parish who attend various secondary schools are beneficiaries of the fund.

DEATH OF INFANT St. George — The St. Paul’s Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the untimely death of an eleven month old baby girl of Mardi Gras St. George’s which occurred on Sunday 9th June at 8:45 pm.
